Hong Li specializes in lantern creation and on-site operations management. With 10 years of experience, Hong has worked on lantern creation, maintenance, preservation, and deinstallation across Australia, Belgium, and multiple cities throughout the United States. His project experience includes Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast (Australia), Belgium, and U.S. cities such as Boston, Buffalo, Cary and South Bend.

He is responsible not only for initial on-site artistic realization but also for daily artistic inspections and emergency restoration throughout the exhibition period.

When a lantern exhibition ends and the lanterns can still be carefully preserved after dismantling, that’s when I feel satisfied. Every lantern has a lifespan — my job is to help it last as long as possible.
