ABOUT TIANYU ARTS & CULTURE
Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc., is the largest Chinese lantern festival producer in North America and one of the first companies to bring authentic Chinese Lantern traditions to the U.S. and Europe. The U.S.-based corporation is a subsidiary of Sichuan Tianyu Culture Communication Co., Ltd., which is headquartered in the city of Zigong in China’s Sichuan Province.
Our team of designers, artisans, and operations professionals bring more than a decade of experience creating authentic and interactive lantern events in partnership with destinations around the globe. We strive for the highest level of quality and experience by focusing on three primary components.
Conservation & Natural Beauty
Over the last 10 years, we have partnered with zoos, botanical gardens, and natural science institutions to create innovative lantern festivals that have attracted millions of visitors.
Inspired by a firsthand look at our partners’ work to create a sustainable world and to protect the animals that inhabit it, we have adopted their mission and incorporated conservation and sustainable messages into our festivals.Inspired by nature, our custom lantern designs highlight birds, land mammals, reptiles, amphibians and fish in their natural habitats, as well as endangered and extinct wildlife, to share important messages with our festival attendees.
Some of our partners in this mission include the National Museum of Natural History in France, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Zoo New England in Boston, and Houston Botanic Garden.
Turnkey Festival Operations
From Los Angeles to Milwaukee and Louisville to Philadelphia, we have worked with a variety of partners, destinations, and venues, including parks, zoos, botanic gardens and aquariums. From public green spaces to gated attractions to iconic landscapes, our teams create engaging and interactive experiences that are appropriate for the event footprint, target audiences, and partner goals.
Our capabilities range from display design, site plan layout, manufacturing, shipping, onsite installation and maintenance to branding and marketing assistance. Our years of experience in event operations make us your one-stop shop for a world-class festival experience.
Interactive Visitor Experiences
Events are more memorable – and Instagrammable – when they feature opportunities for visitors to engage their senses and actively participate. Our custom lanterns meld ancient techniques with innovative technologies, enabling visitors to change colors, activate animations, and physically engage with numerous displays. Our lanterns appeal to social media audiences and are designed to be photographed, videoed, and shared.
