Review, prepare and analyze financial statements to prepare financial reports and analyses and report to china headquarter at the end of each month and financial year. Perform analysis and roll-forwards of select general ledger accounts and review entries to accounts using generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) and international financial reporting standard (IFRS) to ensure they properly reflect the company’s financial position in accordance with company policy and these standards.

Review the signed contract for each event to ensure that the company’s consolidated revenues and expenses are correctly reported and classified in accordance with GAAP.
Analyze, investigate and compile financial information including assets, liabilities and retain earnings accounts’ fluctuations and variances to identify and resolve accounting issues such as reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Interpret accounting standards, review accounting internal control procedures and report potential deficiencies, duplication of effort and developing accounting reports. Recommend improvements to internal control procedures and accounting records and secure financial information by completing data base backups.

Make entries to the books of accounts using the implemented accounting software. Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, statement of cash flows, collection activities and other reports in both Mandarin and English. Maintain electronic banking database for payments. Communicate cash amounts needed for payments to treasurer. Analyze accounting records and methods and respond to treasurer’s questions regarding general ledger account issues.

Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work and complete required tax reporting in a timely manner, including processing payroll using accounting software; preparing related payroll tax reports; preparing, filing and paying federal, state and local taxes.

Research tax issues using Internal Revenue Code and IRS publications and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings and negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues.

Advise management regarding corporate strategies’ impacts on tax issues and the impact of new laws on tax liabilities. Devise tax strategies.

Review the signed contract of each event. Assist with preparing and maintaining all business licenses and jurisdiction files. Prepare and process sales and use tax returns and payments via paper and electronic methods accurately and timely, as required by taxing jurisdictions to ensure all sales and use tax filing deadlines are met.

Assist with applying for pertinent state business registrations and the continual improvement of sales tax compliance procedures.

Complete accounting assignments, including assisting audit plan and performing audit procedures and coordinate audits by various taxation authorities. Assist with preparing audit schedules and confirmations during year-end close such as substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents in accordance with GAAS standards.
