With 11 years of experience, Guobin Wang specializes in translating design concepts into full-scale pattern blueprints – the critical step that ensures every lantern’s proportions and silhouette faithfully follow intangible heritage standards. He has a sharp eye for capturing the essence of mythical birds, dragons, and zodiac animals at actual size, balancing traditional shape rules with the physical constraints of on-site creation.

His international projects include the 2025 North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival, 2025 Grand Rapids Lantern Festival, 2024 Dragon Lights Reno, and the 2023 Sharjah Light Festival.
