Wenkai Zou has 6 years of experience in  fine articulation of small-to-medium creatures – the delicate curves of a mythical bird’s neck, the coiled tail of a serpent, the precise bend of a hoof. He is the go-to artisan for lanterns that require a high degree of elegance and subtlety in their skeletal lines.

He has worked for international projects in Cleveland, Buffalo and Oakland.

I hand-set the layered arcs of mythical birds and the spiraling curves of auspicious creatures, following intangible-heritage rules.
