Kai Chen is a lighting designer responsible for overall lighting artistry system deployment, troubleshooting, electrical safety management, and electromechanical equipment maintenance.

He has contributed to lantern exhibitions throughout China—including Sichuan, Guangdong, Nanjing, Tibet, and Shanghai—as well as projects in Belgium, Cologne (Germany), Denver, Columbia and other international locations.

I use electric current to translate the designer’s intent — so that every lantern breathes at just the right rhythm.
