Chao Liu has 13 years of experience focusing on dynamic and expressive silhouettes – the outer contours that give a lantern its recognizable character. He specializes in creating frameworks that capture the gesture and movement of dragons, phoenixes, and other mythical figures, ensuring they look lively from any viewing angle.

He has worked on numerous lantern exhibitions in UK, Germany and some U.S. cities like Milwaukee, Oakland, Boston, Cary and Oklahoma.
