Milwaukee County Parks announced the festival’s return Wednesday. The colorful lanterns will be on display September 13 to October 20. This year’s theme is Treasures of China.
The Louisville Zoo is happy to host one of the largest Chinese lantern festivals in the nation — Wild Lights: Asian Lantern Festival at the Louisville Zoo opens March 5, 2020 and runs through April 25, 2020. Wild Lights will be our community’s first-ever outdoor Chinese Lantern Festival. Tickets go on sale December 1, 2019.
The Paris Festival of Lights is today a must festival of winter in Paris. After the success of the first edition, named Espèces en Voie d’ Illumination (370,000 visitors in two months), the Jardin des Plantes will once again brighten up the festive year-end with extraordinary giant light sculptures.
Wander through gardens filled with massive lanterns, shimmering flowers and whimsical dragons as the L.A. County Arboretum lights up for Moonlight Forest. This nighttime event, held across the grounds of the Arcadia botanical garden, returns for its second year with two additional themes: “polar dreams” and “ocean visions.”
